Investigative debt collection is a highly specialized service designed to intervene in complex situations where common debt collection activities-such as reminders, out-of-court warnings, or mediation attempts-have failed to produce concrete results.
We do not carry out ordinary debt collection activities in a direct form, but we focus our intervention on those cases in which a targeted in-depth investigation is necessary, aimed at identifying concealed assets or assets that have not emerged by ordinary means. This type of activity is recommended only for credits of significant amounts, capable of justifying the economic investment required to launch a detailed investigation.
The service is based on theacquisition of in-depth information, carried out through investigation and intelligence activities on debtor individuals or legal entities, in order to:
-
Verify the subject’s actual asset capacity;
-
Identify movable and immovable property in the debtor’s name or traceable to the debtor;
-
Ascertain the presence of corporate holdings, checking accounts, vehicles or other attackable assets;
-
Analyze economic relationships, corporate connections or possible evasive maneuvers aimed at evading assets from executive action.
The information collected is audited and documented with methodological rigor, and is set out in a detailed investigative report, ready for use by the assigned law firm or for possible use in court.
This service enables the client to make a concrete assessment of the advisability of proceeding with legal action, avoiding unnecessary expenses in the absence of real chances of recovery. In many cases, the deterrent effect of the investigation itself can encourage the debtor’s voluntary reactivation, inducing him to settle at least part of his debt.
Our experience in the investigative field, combined with the use of public and confidential information sources in compliance with current regulations, makes us a reliable partner for all realities–companies, professionals or individuals–that need concrete and targeted support in the recovery of difficult debts.
